If you are reading this April 25th or 26th chances are that you are among the first few visitors this blog. It’s my “Create With Leisa” debut. It’s the day I decided to announce the world that were here.
I decided to officially launch this it through Entrecard. I have a few other blogs listed here, primarily Dream, Act, Plan, Believe, and the Entrecard community has been very good to me. Thanks!
I haven’t written my About Me page yet, but here’s a very, very brief introduction about my artistic side. I’m a mixed media artist and craft designer, and have traveled teaching at art retreats and stores about scrap-booking, book making, rubber-stamping, and mixed media techniques. I’ve designed and created products for boutiques, publication, and private stores. Much of my work isn’t available for viewing online as it is reserved for print media.
I’ll be sharing techniques on this blog related to lots of different mediums.
I’m celebrating the debut with gifts. So if you’re into art, primarily mixed media or clay this may be of interest to you. I’ve giving away some kato RippleBlades for use with polymer clay to the first 15 artists who comment on this blog and subscribe to my feed. When you do that I’ll send you a thank you email, asking for your address so I can get your blade to you in the mail.

Hey Leisa, just wanted to wish you good luck on your new blog…also let you know you have a typo in your title of your current post…The spelling of Debut is with a “b”, not a “p”…unless you were using the p for an artistic effect!
Cheers!
Matt Urdan’s last blog post..Desperate Blogging with Blog Traffic Sites
Thanks Matt. Thanks for the heads up. If it was for artistic effect my fingers had a mind of their own.
Wonderful blog! All the best with your new venture. I studied art and art history in school… have lost touch with drawing but I still appreciate a good discussion on the fine arts. I’m more into web graphic design now; will you be touching on that?
Have a blast!

Thanks so much. I appreciate you stopping by for a visit. I’ve lost touch with drawing as well. I drew a lot as a child, but haven’t drawn to much since then. That’s something I would like to take up again as well.
I’m not sure if I’ll touch on Graphic Design much. I may. Just depends on the mood, and what my current projects are.
I’m moving my art studio from one room to another so any new creations are going to be a while. It’s driving me nuts to not be able to create as much as I would like.
Thanks for sharing your wealth of talent. I look forward to reading your blog regularly.
Good Luck to you.

Thanks Kat for stopping by for a visit. I look forward to getting to know you better.
When I first got to your new site, first thing that came to mind with the photo was — ATC! I haven’t done this in over half a decade…crazy.
Anyway, congratulations on your new site and I’m so glad to get to know this side of you.

Hi Joy,
Isn’t that the fun thing about blogging, getting to know other people you never would have known. When I think of you I think cooking, not ATC, but now I know an artistic side of you.
I’m so excited to have found this, Lisa! I love learning how to do stuff and this is fantastic! Thank you so much for sharing it with us!
